On 8 March 2022. GNDU, R.C., Jalandhar under the NSS Programme organised several competitions including Mehndi, Rangoli, Speech, and Collage Competitions. The Chief Guests were Dr. Jyoteesh Malhotra, Dr. Namrata Joshi(Head of Dept. of Laws) & Dr. Rupam Jagota(Head of Dept. of Journalism).Event Coordinator were Dr. Manjit Singh and Dr. Harmandar Kaur. International Women's day was celebrated in the campus with much enthusiasm and zeal. Teachers made the students aware of women's rights. Participants gave speeches on women empowerment, role of women in shaping our society, how women are excelling in every zone. With thriving persistence and hard work women have become the best versions of themselves. Women should be given proper education and support so they can fly high in sky and achieve every greatness they can. 7 October, 2021 - Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Jalandhar - One day NSS camp from the NSS unit of Engineering and Technology Department under the supervision of Dr. Jyoteesh Malhotra and Dr. Manjeet Singh. In this one day NSS camp there was Poster Making Competition on social topics like Female Foeticide, Drug Abuse and AIDS Awareness etc. in which Aryan Dhingra bagged 1st position, Rohit Bains bagged 2nd position and Harjot Kaur bagged 3rd position.Dr. Deepkamal Kaur Randhawa, Dr. Harmandar Kaur and Dr. Himali were the Judges of the competition. Dr. Nitika Soni, Dr. Vineet Grewal, Dr. Pankajdeep Kaur, Paramjit Kaur and Naveen Kumar were also present in the event.

On 24 March 2022: Dept of Engineering and Technology, GNDU, R.C., Jalandhar under the NSS Programme commemorated the Matryrdom day of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh ji. A quiz contest was organized to spread awareness amongst the young generation about the life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji and the contribution towards the freedom fight for the country. The event was successfully organised by the student coordinators Aryan dhingra, Jaskaran Singh, Yuka, Sajandeep Singh, Disha Sharma and Rupinder Kaur. The District Legal Service Authority, Jalandhar organized legal awareness programme under the umbrella of PAN India Awareness and Outreached Programme to celebrate "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" and Legal Service week from 8th November, 2021 to 14th November, 2021.

In this regard Shri. Bhupinder Mittal, CJJD/JMIC, delivered an online lecture to the students of Department of law, GNDU, (RC), Jalandhar. He enlightened students about the significance and scope of free legal aid. It was a healthy interactive session in which students questioned about their role and contribution for legal service. On this occasion Dr. Rupam Jagota, Head, Department of laws welcomed the key note speaker. This webinar ended successfully with the vote of thanks by Dr. Vanita Khanna.

Jalandhar, 29 march: -A one day National Seminar on Changing Dimensions Of Law: An Expanding Horizon was organized by the Law Department of Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus Ladhewali Jalandhar. The aim was to revive intellectual and policy debates on the relationship between law and social change, to eliminate social democracy and inequality, and to reduce harm and crime by building socially just and inclusive societies. At the beginning of the presidential session, the head of the law department Dr. Roopam Jagota welcomed all the scholars and guests who came to the seminar. In the inaugural session of the program Prof. from Dean Faculty of Laws, Punjabi University Patiala. Gurpreet Pannu was the Chief Guest. The Registrar of Rajiv Gandhi University of Laws, Dr. Naresh Kumar was the keynote speaker. Director and former Head, Department of Law, Khalsa College of Laws, Amritsar. Jaspal Singh joined as special guest. In the validation session, the head of law department, Amritsar, Dr. Pawan Kumar was the Chief Guest. The Director and former Head of Law Department, St. Soldier, Jalandhar, Dr. Subhash Chandra Sharma played the role of Guest of Honor. Associate Dean of Guru Nanak Dev University Jalandhar Dr. Jyotish Malhotra shared his thoughts with everyone. At the end of the program, Dr. Inderpreet Kaur gave an overview of the entire program through her speech.

16 October, 2021 - Department of Laws, GNDU (RC), Jalandhar under the agies of worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Dean Academic Affairs Prof. (Dr.) Hardeep Singh, organized a webinar on the eve of the “Celebration of the Right to Information Week”. The webinar was moderated by Dr. Vanita Khanna. The Head of the Department, Dr. Rupam Jagota, on the behalf of the Faculty of law welcomed the key note speaker, Mr. H.C Arora, Sr. Advocate, P&H HighCourt, Chandigarh. He highlighted the procedural framework, abuses of RTI and various difficulties being faced by activist in getting the information from different departments. He also explored the role of State of Punjab in ensuring the protection of whistleblower. He also addressed the queries of the students on the various issues like training of Public Information Commissioner and reason of delay in getting the information from the concer nauthorities. The lecture delivered by Mr. H.C Arora was very thought provoking. Dr. Jyoteesh Malhotra, DAA & DSWA, and faculty members are also present. Dr. Varinder Singh, Assistant Professor extended the vote of thanks to the worthy speaker.
